Wonderwax Wrap Kit | DIY Beeswax Kitchen Wraps
This handy DIY kit is put together with everything you need to make your own beeswax food wraps! The Wonderwax kit contains a bar of Wonderwax in the perfect ratio of beeswax and pine rosin, two pieces of material for a medium and large wrap, a silicone sheet and instructions on exactly HOW to make, use and care for your wraps. The only other thing you need is an iron. Don't you just love a little DIY?
How did we ever live without these? The eco-friendly beeswax food wrap is truly amazing! Instead of using pollution-causing clingfilm and plastic containers (that will be thrown into landfill), you can wrap your lunch sandwiches, bowls, leftovers, snacks, fruit, veggies, cheese, bread and more in these colourful, reusable wax wraps!
They have just the right amount of clingyness so that they will stay hugged around the item you want to keep fresh. The combination of natural ingredients with the 100% cotton fabric allows our wraps to breathe, making sure your food stays fresher for longer. You can use your wrap over and over again, just giving a wash inbetween. You can then pop it on the compost heap once you have really used it well! Our wraps come in a gorgeous red floral design and the larger, cheerful yellow chevron design. Try them right now, you'll NEVER look back at the plastic clingfilm days again!
Included in the Kit:
- 25cm x 25cm Floral Cotton Fabric
- 35cm x 35cm Yellow Chevron Cotton Fabric
- 2 x 40g bars of Wonderwax
- I x silicone sheet
- 1 x instruction leaflet
To clean your wrap: simply be wash in cold water with a little bit of soap (I use Castille soap) and they are ready to roll again. After a month or so just pop them in the oven to re sterilise them and hey presto, keep using 'em!
Why we love it...
What's NOT to love? They look amazing, they work soooo well and they help save the planet, one less clingfilm-wrapped item at a time! We love using them, and making them, it just feels good!
